Speech-Language Pathologist

A school speech-language pathologist, employed by the Chignecto Central Regional School board, visits our school 1-2 times per week to work with our students. Roles and responsibilities include assessments, interventions and consultations. Students they work with may include, but are not limited to, students who have articulation problems, language disorders, voice disorders, stuttering and social communication disorders. Before a student is assessed or receives individual treatment from the speech-language pathologist, a written consent form must be signed by their parent or guardian.
